3 Questions : Ine
3 Questions is an interview-style series featuring some of my favorite bloggers. Every week, I ask one inspirational person 3 completely random questions and ask them to share three photos that represent Who they are, What they do or make and Where they feel the happiest.
Ine, a young Belgian, is another one of these amazing women who impresses me not only with what she creates but her range of talent. She knits, sews, draws and shares it all through her beautiful photography, which has such a great use of depth of field to make her life and creations seem otherworldly, or like peering into a dream or memory. Plus I love when she goes on hikes because I can live vicariously through her as she treks around beautiful places on the other side of the pond.
1. If you could have one super power, what would it be?
It’s a cliché but I think it would solve numerous traffic problems: teleportation. Though life’s a journey and not a destination, I think teleportation would especially come in handy when you don’t want to waste your most precious time in a traffic jam.
2. If you could meet anyone from history, who would it be?
I don’t have any person in particular that I’d like to meet. I actually want to go far back in history, let’s say, Classical Era. And not so much experiencing the Greek or Roman culture, but I’d like to visit a Gallic tribe :-) Just to see how they lived an traded, what their houses were like,...I’ve visited many musea and countries with ruins and rests of these ages, but still, I think it would be an extreme experience to BE there.
3. What countries have you traveled to?
Being European, and especially living in Belgium, it’s not that hard to visit numerous other countries, because some of them are not that far away. So it’s quite easy to let’s say, visit the Netherlands and Germany in one day. I’ve visited: the Netherlands, France, Germany, Ireland, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Austria, Turkey, Tunesia, Greek islands (Evia, Corfu, Crete), Greek continent, Malta, Fuerte Ventura, Kroatia, Slovenia, Andorra. I’ve been longing to visit Scandinavia, Iceland and Canada for years. I hope that one day, I’m lucky to get there.
