You'd be hard-pressed to find a knitter who hasn't heard of the Pussyhat Project. A year ago pink kitten-eared hats were flooding our social media feeds and no doubt on a set of our very own needles. Krista Suh, the creator of the Pussyhat Project, has written a manifesto called DIY Rules for a WTF World : How to Speak Up, Get Creative, and Change the World.
This book is very à propos for this time--the anniversary of the women's march, the #TimesUp movement, and the song of voices finally being heard. You can check out a bit more about my initial opinions of the book, sneak peeks inside and more, in the video above.
The Hachette Book Group has generously offered to give away a copy of DIY Rules for a WTF World to two lucky winners. To match their offer, I'll be adding a skein of my yarn to each winner. This is my Worsted III base, which is a 100% merino wool single ply yarn dyed with lac. It's a perfect yarn for the original Pussyhat pattern (which is included at the end of this book.) Giveaway is only open to residents of US and Canada. Winners will be drawn randomly on Thursday, January 18th--one from the comments below and one from the corresponding post on my Instagram. Feel free to enter in both places, following the specific directions in each. Here, please comment below on how DIY empowers you!
This Giveaway is now closed! The winner is Nicky.
